The Rubin Report detailed the experiences of a multitude of Dr. Hankey\u2019s victims and concluded that King\u2019s is culpable for the predatory actions of Dr. Hankey and their failure to respond to evidence of misconduct in a timely fashion.\u00a0 The Rubin Report recommends that King\u2019s acknowledge its culpability and adequately and justly compensate the victims. The number of victims interviewed is just the tip of the iceberg. Despite the publication of the Report, victims may will still have difficulty publicly addressing the trauma they incurred. \u00a0Wagners commends King\u2019s for conducting this public investigation and hope they will continue to embrace a trauma informed approach and allow the victims to come forward in a private and confidential manner so that no revictimization will occur.\n\n\u201cWe commend the bravery of the victims who came forward publicly to bring Dr. Hankey\u2019s sexual misconduct to light. These courageous actions have helped establish a platform that will allow other victims of Dr. Hankey to know they were not alone and will give voice to their traumatic experiences as well.
