{"id":30822,"date":"2025-09-08T17:54:42","date_gmt":"2025-09-08T17:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wagners1.wpenginepowered.com\/blog\/doctor-charged-with-sexual-assault-at-nova-scotia-hospital\/"},"modified":"2025-09-08T17:54:42","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T17:54:42","slug":"doctor-charged-with-sexual-assault-at-nova-scotia-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wagners.co\/es\/blog\/doctor-charged-with-sexual-assault-at-nova-scotia-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Doctor Charged With Sexual Assault At Nova Scotia Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>August 22, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The RCMP has charged Dr. Sanjeev Sirpal with sexual assault following an incident that occurred in January 2025 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, near Amherst, Nova Scotia. The alleged assault took place during an emergency room assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sirpal was arrested on August 14, 2025, and is currently released on conditions, pending a November 15 court appearance. Sirpal is currently practicing in New Brunswick with an office registered at the Edmunston Regional Hospital. However, he has been removed from clinical duties pending the outcome of the legal proceedings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Doctor Practiced Under Conditions in New Brunswick<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since March 2025, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick had imposed strict conditions on Sirpal\u2019s license.
