Nova Scotia Supreme Court File: Hfx No. 426867<\/h3>\nWagners filed a proposed class action on behalf of Canadians implanted with a Biomet Metal on Metal Hip Implant System between 1998 to the date of certification. The action was filed on May 1, 2014 in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia in Halifax.\n\nIt is alleged that Biomet\u2019s metal-on-metal hip implant system fails prematurely, thereby causing bone dislocation, metallosis and the need for further surgery.
