The changes were introduced on April 5<sup>th<\/sup> setting the minimum age, maximum speed, and various other requirements in legislation which will allow municipalities in Nova Scotia to create bylaws related to where people are able to operate e-scooters and other regulations for their use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The amendments that were proposed include a minimum age of at least 14 to operate e-scooters, helmet requirements, a maximum speed of 32km\/h, and other operational restrictions.
