Wagners is aware of an incident of unauthorized access to an IWK employee email account in December 2023, resulting in exposure of personal health information including patient name, treatment/diagnosis information, prescription information, and healthcare provider name.
After a review was undertaken by IWK Health, notification of the incident occurred in January 2025. It is believed that a number of patients were impacted by the cyber incident.
