
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, a 69-year-old man was charged with multiple sexual assaults connected to a nursing home in Saint John, New Brunswick. Police say 15 victims have been identified.
The alleged assaults occurred between December 26, 2025, and January 19, 2026. The victims are reported to be between 70 and 90 years old.
Saint John police were first notified of the allegations on January 21, 2026. The accused is a family member of a resident at the home. His name has not been released as he has not yet appeared in court. The man was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on May 26, 2026.
Police have not publicly identified the facility. However, media reports indicate the incidents occurred at Loch Lomond Villa’s “The Village.” According to reports, once the facility became aware of the situation and contacted police, additional security measures were implemented at the nursing home.
