Halifax Acupuncturists Denies Sexual Assault of Student

Xiao Han Li has been accused of sexually assaulting a female student at his mother’s, Qing Li Murphy, traditional Chinese medicine clinic in May 2017, he was charged in 2019.  Subsequently, Li was charged with sexually assaulting three other patients.

The student-victim testified that she asked Li to explain to her how he had diagnosed a patient. Li took her into a treatment room and proceeded to grab her breasts without her consent. The victim stated she did not know how to react and was shocked. She left the room and decided that she would not return to the clinic to complete her mentorship.
